Sterling ArborBLU

High-end finishes, decent square footage, VERY close to Ross. Building is overrun by undergrads.

Best part about living in ArborBlu is how close it is to Ross (~1.5 min walk). It is pretty expensive and I would consider cheaper options on south forest as well if convenience is important.

Unbeatable location, literally 18 seconds from Ross. This amenities-filled, somewhat small, but clean apartment is ideal for anyone who is willing to pay a premium for a great location and hassle-free experience.

Pros: the location of ArborBLU can't be beat. It's a 3-minute walk from Ross so you can always make it to class quickly and don't have too much exposure to weather!
The apartments are also only 2 years old, nicely appointed, have in-unit washer/dryers, gym in the building, study rooms, recreational space and a nice roof top deck that overlooks Ann Arbor.
Also right next to South University bars and restaurants, and a short walk from State Street bars and restaurants.

Cons: Very undergrad heavy. Can get loud on the weekends, and the communal spaces are not always in the best condition. This is probably typical with any residence this close to campus but worth noting.
Management is mediocre. They don't have the best track record with book keeping - have tried to give me penalty fees on late rent or utilities, when I had already paid.
No pets allowed in the building.

Great to be right next to Ross. Not too many graduate students live in the building. I will be moving to a different location next year. Also management is not super responsive/helpful.

ArborBlu is 2 blocks from the Ross School of Business but is relatively expensive compared to other Ann Arbor rental options

3 minute walk from Ross, location here couldn't be better. All utilities are included and every apartment has in-unit washer and dryer. Great study room, on-site gym at no extra cost. The top floor has an awesome social space with outdoor deck, fireplace, pool table and foosball, awesome for hosting guests! Management is responsive, and there is security every night after 9pm at the front door. Definitely pay for it though, this is not the most economical choice, paying for location and amenities. Also a little light on storage space. NOT pet friendly.
