If you can afford it, great place to live.

Fantastic place to live, just not if you are struggling financially. The location is great, the management is friendly, the other residents are friendly, there is a nice pool/fitness area, and apartments are very spacious! The only problem is the price: it could be cheaper, but the location alone probably makes it so expensive. Nothing is included in rent except for the fitness facility and small "dog park." If $1,000/month is no big deal for rent, this is a great place to live! If $1,000/month would put pressure on your finances, just find something south of George Bush Tollway, since that would be a cheaper alternative.

Getting around Plano

There is always something to do here. The North side of Legacy has younger people living there but an older nightlife whereas the South side has older residents and a younger nightlife. Legacy has everything you need from great bars, restaurants, shopping & even a dry cleaner on each side. Get your mornings at 10am at lululemon.
The complex is in an awesome location - so close to tons of restaurants and shopping opportunities, and also the toll roads, so you can easily go further out if you want to.
Located in the Shops at Legacy. Really nice.
Awesome
Around the apartment, the neighborhood is very nice and relatively safe. There is generally no noise except for traffic and trains, which give off minimal noise anyway. The neighborhood is also close to a plethora of grocery stores, hardware stores, gas stations, and pharmacies. There are two Starbucks within 3 miles of each other, and there is also a mall nearby with many more retail shops inside. Only cons would be the construction on Plano Parkway and Dallas Parkway, and along the Dallas North Tollroad, which causes massive traffic backups during rush-hour. Otherwise, great neighborhood!
I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED LIVING AT THE SHOPS AT LEGACY IN A VERY BUSY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT. EVEN BETTER, IT'S SO PET FRIENDLY! I LOVE HANGING OUT AT THE DOG PARK WITH NEIGHBORS AND THEIR FURRY CHILDREN.
Pretty good
