Quite and Great value in Richardson ISD

Prestonwood Trails is a great value for the school district. It is the only apartment complex that filters into Brentfield Elementary, one of Texas top 10 schools. There is a large walking trail, Elementary School, park and and Recreation center within walking Distance. My only review would be on management and maintenance. There have been 5 landlord in the last year and half as well as a high turn around of other staff which makes it difficult to get things taken care of. But other than that it is a bang for it's buck!!

Getting around Far North Dallas

Far North Dallas Reviews

Walkable to lots of restaurants, bars and 2 movie theatres. Walk to major Addison events in Addison Circle Park without the crazy hassle that is parking at one of the complexes in the circle.
Safe, lots of families.
Nice area, lots of new stuff popping up. Many restaurants and bars in the area.
Bent Tree Neighborhood is across Trinty Mills and were the Plano Elementary school is called Mitchell Elementary. Good school and neighborhood. Dallas address but Plano school district.
Right in the middle of far north Dallas, you are minutes away from the Galleria, west Plano and Addison.
Living in Far North Dallas had its definite pros - close to anything you need (grocery, shopping, entertainment). But the character of living in East Dallas, Uptown, or Downtown isn't there.
When we moved into our apartment back in August, the selling point was that ALL residence required a background check and if ANY criminal background was triggered, their application was denied. This is not to say, I do not believe in second chances- but rather it provided an element of safety and protection, that as a young women- we were seeking.
Close to most stores and some fun bars. Less traffic than living downtown, but does not feel completely suburban.
