Large Complex with Small Community Feel

The Brighton is a pleasant complex to live in; the leasing company really tries to give residents opportunities to socialize with neighbors and nurture a community. While the children can be loud and disruptive, they recently built a playground on the grounds which has helped.

Decent Priced Living in a Lively Area

The Brighton is a large Complex that does house annoying packs of children but the area is great for a young adult. Belt Line and Addison are just down the road with so many food, liquor, and entertainment options. One of the newest additions is a movie theater but I'm a big fan the piano bar and comedy club right past the tollway.

Large Property with a Small Feel

Living at the Brighton is extremely pleasant. The leasing company really tries to nurture the feeling of community. The children do run around in loud packs though which can get on one's nerves. Luckily they just built a playground which cut back on the daily disruptions.

Getting around Far North Dallas

Far North Dallas Reviews

9 reviews
Walkable to lots of restaurants, bars and 2 movie theatres. Walk to major Addison events in Addison Circle Park without the crazy hassle that is parking at one of the complexes in the circle.
Safe, lots of families.
Nice area, lots of new stuff popping up. Many restaurants and bars in the area.
Bent Tree Neighborhood is across Trinty Mills and were the Plano Elementary school is called Mitchell Elementary. Good school and neighborhood. Dallas address but Plano school district.
Right in the middle of far north Dallas, you are minutes away from the Galleria, west Plano and Addison.
Living in Far North Dallas had its definite pros - close to anything you need (grocery, shopping, entertainment). But the character of living in East Dallas, Uptown, or Downtown isn't there.
When we moved into our apartment back in August, the selling point was that ALL residence required a background check and if ANY criminal background was triggered, their application was denied. This is not to say, I do not believe in second chances- but rather it provided an element of safety and protection, that as a young women- we were seeking.
Close to most stores and some fun bars. Less traffic than living downtown, but does not feel completely suburban.
