I enjoy the area around my apartment because it is quiet and I am able to focus without distractions. I find that I need to drive other places to get groceries or to meet up with friends but I enjoy this because it is quieter around my actual apartment. There are good places to hang out with friends on Main street and on Magnolia. There are several hospitals in the area so you might hear some sirens occasionally but I don't find them that distracting.

I have really enjoyed living in Fort Worth and this is a great area of the city. My apartment is close to downtown and is within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops. There is a combination of apartments, townhomes, and single family homes throughout the neighborhood, giving it a strong sense of community. Fort Worth is great about having all the big city amenities while have a close community feel.

It is a nice neighborhood. It does not have a community per se. It is the bar district, so it is often loud at night. But the police are always patrolling, keeping the area safe, and there are some good restaurants and museums very close by. It is a super easy drive to the law school. Overall, it is a great place to live.

I’m pretty social so I like that I’m close to the bars and a bunch of restaurants and stuff. Which is my favorite part about being on west 7th but not directly on top like the lifts and elan are. So close enough for cheap Uber’s and activities but far enough away that I don’t have to hear all the noise when I’m studying or trying to sleep

Elan Crockett Row is located in the West 7th/Cultural District area of Fort Worth. It is across the street from the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Kimbell Art Museum. There are dozens of restaurants and bars within a few blocks of the apartment.

Great neighborhood area. Filled with families, people with pets, and college students. There is a good mix of people and lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. There is also a wonderful shopping center next door.

A great location. Everything you could need all within incredibly close distances. Additionally, the bike system allows for getting to those places that may be a little long for a walk, but not worth a drive.

The neighborhood is incredible. Walking distance to four coffee shops, restaurants, stores, etc. It's great to walk around, and I love being within walking distance to all these places to eat and study.

Love the neighborhood. Close to school, but not as loud and college-like as West 7th is. Much chiller.

Living in Fort Worth (specifically near 7th street) has been an amazing experience. Fort Worth has a huge array of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There is always something to do with friends or family- like go to the zoo, botanical gardens, or just walk around downtown! Fort Worth has its own culture, which is rare for such a large city. The traffic is never too bad and I almost never have to leave Fort Worth itself to get anything or do anything. However, while most of Fort Worth is clean, safe, fun, and full of culture, a few parts are unsafe! It is not hard to avoid these areas, just use common sense. Keep reading Bell Lancaster
This neighborhood has easy access to downtown and to the highways, but does not feel busy or loud. There are a number of apartment complexes which seem to house mostly students and young professionals. New apartments are being built, so there is sometimes construction. This, coupled with the presence of an elementary school along the main road, means that traffic occasionally backs up, especially when school is starting or ending.

I love living in this area! There are many new bars and restaurants popping up all over South Main Street (which is one street over from the apartments). There are many homeless people in this part of town, but they tend to mind their own business typically. I typically feel very safe in this area.

It is really nice being located close to West seventh, without living on West seventh. I can walk two the grocery store and also to Trinity Park. The Bowery is essentially in downtown Fort Worth. It’s half a mile from Texas A&M School of Law and the Fort Worth water gardens. I would warn potential renters that if you go a half a mile in the other direction, it’s not the best neighborhood. But, the Bowery is gated and has cameras practically everywhere. I have never felt unsafe living here, regardless of the close proximity to downtown and some problem neighborhoods.

We live right by an elementary school so the city likes to keep it looking nice. Our neighbors are all adults so they like to be quiet. I’ve seen young women walk their dogs at night with no issue.

For being this close to Fort Worth, the area is safe and quiet. The only caveat is that the apartments that face towards Rosedale St can be louder. The apartment is near a number of hospitals and fire department, so emergency vehicles frequent that busy street. Otherwise no complaints. The neighborhood is safe, in my experience, but I’ll note that I’m writing that as a young, white man.

It is a pretty affluent area neighboring a Hispanic area. On my weekly trip to Target, you drive near the second nicest private golf course in North Texas, Shady Oak Country Club (per AvidGolfer). You will then drive past predatory loaners, panhandlers, Goodwill, etc. It is not uncommon to see Teslas, McLarens, Aston Martins, and other luxury brands; those are just examples from this week alone. Once arriving at Target, the guests are a mix of struggling mothers using WIC to buy the necessities; behind them in line is a lady with ostrich skin riding boots and a designer bag I cannot spell. This is to say, the community is diverse. The poor are welcomed and the Hyper-affluent are not uncommon.

I was worried about moving to FTW because I’ve never lived in a big city, and I didn’t know bad/safe parts of town. I always feel safe. I feel fine when my girlfriend goes running by herself (unless it’s after dark obviously), but it’s still safe after dark if you don’t venture too far north of Weatherford.

The neighborhood is transitioning from a run-down/old neighborhood to a more urban and family oriented area. There are still a few houses that have not been rebuilt yet, but most have been bought and are on a timeframe to be torn down and rebuilt. As such with a run-down/old neighborhood, there are still a limited number of low income family and occasional homeless that pass through the neighborhood. I have never experienced any problems in the neighborhood, and everyone is very friendly. The park nearby offers a chance to get away and walk my dog, as well as watch neighborhood soccer and baseball games. Streets can be difficult to navigate due to the amount of street parking, but I have never had an issue with it thus far. Keep reading Aviator West 7th
