College Park

Vibrant Neighborhood
Less than a ten-minute drive north of Downtown and FAMU, College park is the perfect location for young professionals, families, and grad students. The community is centered at the intersection of Edgewater Drive and Princeton Street. At the northernmost point of Edgeview Drive within College Park, Lake Silver, Edgewater High School, and the Historic Dubsdread Golf Course make up a beautiful, green campus perfect for kids and families to enjoy after school and work. As you travel down the main road, you can find local favorites like Soda Fountain Ice Cream, Blended Bistro & Boba, Dartmouth Park, or Shaker American Cafe. At the southernmost point of Edgewater Drive, and nearest to the city, you could find yourself enjoying Don Dudley Park, right near Lake Concord, or Lake Adair Park, both of which hosted historic orange groves and small homes in the late 1800s.

Over the years, College Park has grown into its history, where cottages and bungalows from the early residential wave in the 1900s stand their ground next to new apartment and housing constructions. As for historic restaurants, The Tap Room at Dubsdread attracts plenty of customers while new modern restaurants and bars like The Local College Park pop up along the main drive.
