- Management company can be a bit of hassle, but maintenance requests are still handled quickly

This apartment is very well located right next to a trolley station that can drop you in front of HUP and the VA or take you up to Fishtown or anywhere in between. There are also great restaurants and museums nearby. There are large windows with lots of light, and pets are allowed. I like the layout of the kitchen, but the appliances are nothing special - there is an electric stove, and my refrigerator and microwave have both had problems in the past. That said, management is reasonably responsive to maintenance requests. The building has a gym, and there is laundry on each floor. I live on Market St, so there is some noise from the street and trolley station.

Amenities: 24-hr concierge accepts packages (Ehric is the greatest man alive!); one-time $250 pet fee; decent gym (free weights up to 50 lb, bikes, ergs, treadmills, ellipticals, and weighted machines) with indoor lounge and outdoor deck on the roof; laundry on each floor (uses a refillable "credit card" so no quarters); huge windows and high ceilings

Worth the Price - location location location
Location is AMAZING - right above Trader Joe's, in the middle of school and Center City. Also there is a trolley on the corner (10 ft from the entrance) where you can get to school in 3 stops (10 mins max).
Not the cheapest, but good quality and in my opinion, worth the price.

Really, a great place for the price
I've been here for 2+ years and have enjoyed my top floor, isolated apartment. I'm sure other locations in the building are smaller or noisier, but for the price, I couldn't live somewhere quieter in such a great and accessible neighborhood. The security is lax but generally friendly, the management is typically responsive and patient, and the gym and roof deck--oh, those are amenities you'd have to pay an arm and a leg for anywhere else in the city. I think the value of this apartment (a relatively rare 2-bedroom in a building of mostly 1-bedrooms, on the top floor, in the corner) is enough that, with the recent addition of the rooftop amenities, I'll be asking to re-up my lease for 2 years just to make sure that I lock in the value I have right now.

Spacious and High Ceilings
Hey guys i have lived in 2121 market st apt building and i have enjoyed my stay here. Moving out as i am relocating to CA. It's a pretty convenient location with trolley station right outside the building and trader joe's on the backside of it. I don't have a pet but this seems to be a great place for pet lovers,very pet friendly.

Good and Safe location
2121 market st apartments are good to rent location wise and also apartments are built nicely. They build a new gym which is pretty good and well maintained. It's a convenient location as you have kelly drive,seven eleven,trader joes,trolley station all close by. I enjoyed living here.

Spacious with a great view
I've lived in the building for 1.5 years and could not be happier. Love the massive windows and high ceilings. Management has been responsive to all issues and is currently building a gym and rooftop deck.

Good spot, terrible management
If you can deal with truly sub-par management, its a great place at a good price. Even for a one bedroom in center city, its cheap. Its right above trader joes and right next to the trolley stop that takes you right to school. Also right across from the liquor store--in another city that might sound trivial or like I'm a drunk, but in Philly that's important. Kitchen appliances are not great, but the living space is phenomenal, great windows and sunlight, the bedroom is a great sleeping area, and the bathroom does the job.
