Students welcome
My apartment is in an older building, like all of the buildings in the complex. The apartments are very large, but because it's a little older, they are reasonably priced. The leasing office isn't awesome, and the maintenance team tends to do the least work possible whenever there is a problem, oftentimes not really fixing the underlying problem. There is also an annoying system of "reserved" parking spaces that some residents pay extra to claim, but not all of them are claimed, so some spots are always empty, which is frustrating when trying to find a spot after a day at work or a late afternoon/evening class. All of that being said, there is a lot of space, the pet ownership policies are reasonable, as is the rent, especially for the square footage. Because it is right next to two major highways, 610 and 59, it is convenient to get almost anywhere in the city, but because it is a few blocks away, most of the traffic noise is filtered out. The neighborhood, and the community are very quiet, with a lot of families, and great for studying.
