Management is horrible

The day I moved in, the apartment was disgustingly dirty. Someone else's hair was in the drain, the apartment had not been cleaned, there are different tones of paint in various parts of my apartment. The management team was and has been terrible to work with. No sympathy from them with any of the issues that I encountered.

About Montrose

Originally imagined as a strictly residential neighborhood, Montrose has morphed into Houston's most eccentric spot with neon-lit tattoo parlors, 24-hour drive-thrus, and covered bungalows. You can get out and enjoy the quirkiness of this neighborhood at popular spots like The Hay Merchant, Stone's ...

Montrose Reviews

Montrose is a very young and vibrant neighborhood. There are lots of bars and restaurants. It can get a little crowded on weekend nights. It is very centrally located for the city.
Easy access to parks at Buffalo Bayou and Spotts Park with a lively crowd.
Lots of bars, cafe shops, and restaurants. You find people walking/jogging the streets. Close to the law school. Close to Midtown.
There are a lot of things to do right in walking distance of the apartment. H-E-B is right next door and Spotts Park as well. A 10-15 minute drive from basically everything important in Houston, so very convenient.
The neighborhood is great. The apartment is gated, which is a plus. The apartment is also within a quiet residential area - it is completely safe to walk around this apartment.
There are some break-ins in the garage occasionally but I love Montrose
Quiet, safe neighborhood.
Fun, young area with lots of local restaurants and bars
