Perfect for family
I recommend this neighborhood especially someone who brings their family including their kids. Very safe, beautiful trail but little bit far from campus(It takes 15min by car).

Comfortable apartment and responsive mgmt team
The price for the amount of space was great. I lived in a 6-unit building within the complex. It felt like I was in a neighborhood and not a big complex. Plenty of parking available and access to great nature trails. Gym access across the street at Steeplechase apartments.
It's a 15-20 minute drive to Kelley. For those without cars, there are a few bus stops just outside the complex on Sare Rd. The distance from campus meant fewer undergrads and parties and loud neighbors.

Good residential area, MeadowCreeks!
This town is very calm and safe. So, if you have children or need to take your time with silence, this town would be good choice for you.

Looking for something more "adult" -- LIVE HERE
I came for the cute gingerbread house-like apartments... stayed for everything else. The management is crazy responsive/personable; they even sent us a card after we got married! I know my COVID isolation summer was as nice as it was because I was able to get outside so easily. The neighborhood has a giant green space in the middle, a fairly large pool and picnic table area, sidewalks/nature trails connected to the neighborhood. You have an assigned maintenance person throughout, so you can form a bit of a relationship, which is nice. And in winter, everything is so well maintained. During snowfall, everything is salted, brushed, scraped etc. My first year, they even gave us little candy bags with a reminder to leave your porchlight on if you wanted to participate in Halloween. This is a bit farther from the law school, but its quiet and feels like a neighborhood, not an apartment complex. Free parking in spaces and street, so easy for friends to come over. The ONLY negative, is you can't add new pets after you sign your initial lease, even if you move apartments.

Meadowcreek is Great for Kelleys with Partners
Moving to Bloomington with a partner and a dog, options seemed limited for housing. However, we are highly satisfied with our experience in the Meadowcreek Neighborhood.

Rentals in bloomington
I've been here for the past 4 months and the only concern I have is that the management does not allow new pets. My wife and I wanted to get a pet but the management is against that.
