Elevator recently was down for around a week, had issues (noise, slow, etc.) for about a year before it broke down, didn't seem to have any maintenance on it in that timespan until it broke. Ladybugs tend to get into our apartment, even with windows/doors closed. Seems to be something eating at a wood corner of our kitchen counter, pest control is pretty frequent, but doesn't seem to be frequent enough. Balcony is nice but small. We're on the alley side, so it can pretty windy. Sun will reflect off the building on the other side of the alley directly into our apartment. Very well insulated, we can get away with no AC/heating for about 6 months and be comfortable. Can be loud as well, a popular bar is right across the street, open until about 2 in the morning. Trash for the building goes in dumpsters in the alley, gets picked up most mornings, around 6 or 6:30, very loud, helpful for waking up early which I have to do. We can hear our neighbor's tv through our bedroom wall, not a really big deal but depending on the neighbor it could be annoying. Pool access is on the rooftop of a building nearby, when pool season starts it's really nice but it doesn't seem to get cleaned often throughout pool season. Periodically we'll have issues with plumbing in our bathroom (toilet weakly flushing, sink leaks, etc.). Maintenance has been quick to respond with those issues. We haven't had issues with management.

Spacious studio with amenities
My experience overall at 901 Lofts has been positive: the management and maintenance team are very responsive, I was able to move in early (July 28th instead of August 9th), and there is a bus stop less than 2 minutes away that allows me to access campus. I chose this apartment for this year because I wanted a nicer, modern apartment close to downtown with a washer/dryer. My studio is quite spacious, but the rent is somewhat expensive and requires strict budgeting on my GTA salary. I also have had several plumbing issues within the 2 months I have lived here, but as I mentioned, the maintenance team has been very helpful and came out to fix the issue within a day.
