Management difficult to work with
Management doesn’t value the experience of their residents enough over earning a quick Buck.
Good amenities in terms of the gym and pool. But not worth it overall. The management is extremely difficult to work with and extremely defensive over issues.

Great, with a few downsides
I really like this building.
Pros:
Great amenities
All floorplans make sense and feel spacious
The Kitchen appliances are new
Laundry closet in unit.
The windows are huge and let in a ton of natural sunlight
Heat/Air conditioning units are place at the perfect spot.
Cons:
Depending on what part of the building you are at, it is very easy to hear noise outside, the city picks up trash at 7-8 am, or afternoon naps in the summer are hard if you live poolside.
For the price, I wish that they would have used actual hardwood floors, instead of vinyl plank.

Really bad - don't live here unless absolutely necessary
The rent includes none of the utilities, you pay way too much for what the apartment is. The maintenance isn't good either. They messed up the installation of my door and I asked multiple times to get it fixed and they just haven't. They charge you to use the movie room and the wifi in the common area downstairs doesn't work 1/2 the time. They scammed a ton of people who wanted to live in phase 2 and made their lives terrible. I don't recommend this place unless you really can't find anywhere else to live.

10/10
We really enjoy living here. Management and maintenance response to all our request really fast. They are so nice and always accessible. I dropped my phone under the elevator on new years eve and they immediately send someone to help retrieve it with no extra cost. They are very dog friendly. They have a few apartment with its own private yard which is unique and life saver for pet owners

Do your research
The building is new and is alright for the most part. Some of the staff are FAR more helpful than others. The building constantly leaks and my friends in the building have had hundreds of dollars in water damage. Ive also had serious issues with packages being stolen from the mail room. Not even remotely worth the price of the rent.

La Fenice
Extremely attentive and committed leasing and maintenance staff. Great location between Central and North Campuses. Near the UMich Medical Center and Kellogg Eye Center. Easy access to public transportation. Excellent amenities: gym, pool, lounges, barbecue, snack center, washer/dryer/dishwashers in each apartment.

Relatively expensive but worth it with good roommates
The building is fantastic, very responsive, and the amenities (including the pool, gym, party hosting spaces, and cookout area) are fantastic.

Extremely expensive with bad managment
I have never paid so much for an apartment in my life. Beekman piles on as many fees as possible. I pay $300 more a month than I was originally quoted for the apartment, plus $150 a month for parking. The apartment is new so that's nice, but it's lacking a lot of finesse. The washer and dryer are not ventilated so they use condensation drying, which doesn't get clothes dry quickly or easily. The electrical is clearly done wrong and when there was a blackout all my electronics got fried. I had to replace my 4k TV because it wouldn't stop flickering after. When I plug things in the outlets spark. The sinks are flat bottomed so they drain poorly and are hard to keep clean. It may seem like small things but it adds up to an annoying experience when I think about how much I pay.
Maintenance is responsive which is nice. The location is great. I don't plan on staying here after the year lease is up.

you get what you pay for
I have no complaints with the property, high quality apartments, new appliances, spacious, in-unit laundry, in-building gym and pool, walk-in closet, lounge spaces and study spaces. It's definition luxury apartments, and you're definitely going to be paying for it. Maintenance team is incredible. Administration of the building is less impressive, they try to squeeze you for more $ in parking fees, late fees, admin fees that aren't necessary. Leasing staff are hit or miss.

Great amenities and luxury apartments
Parking not included, they charge an extra ~$200ish per month. This is the biggest downside in addition to the incessant construction noise if you live in an apartment facing it
