Jardine Apartments

Apartment management is apt and facilities are up to date

As an international graduate student in Computer Science, Jardine has been a convenient and practical choice at K-State. I have been living here for more than 2 years. The location is excellent. I can easily walk to my department and campus facilities. Having most utilities included (water, gas, internet, trash) makes budgeting straightforward and removes the stress of setting up multiple accounts as an international student. The graduate student community here is helpful and quiet. Maintenance requests are handled promptly by the university. No need for a car since everything is walkable. Safe and secure environment.

I would recommend Jardine to incoming international graduate students, particularly for their first year. It provides stability and convenience while you're adjusting to life in Manhattan and focusing on your studies. The on-campus location and included utilities make the transition much easier.

I live on the upper floor and we have carpet so it’s not that damp. It’s very easy to get to campus (10 minute walk) and there are often events put on by the RAs. The buildings are a little old (if you’re not in modern apartments) but heat is free!

The Jardine Apartments are fine.

Jardine offers the convenience of living on campus with a diverse community and easy access to classes, buses, and dining. The location is great, with green spaces and a relaxed neighborhood feel. Management provides 24/7 maintenance, though cleanliness at move-in can vary.

My apartment has cockroach issues, so be careful while choosing yours.

Overall is good, but buildings are old and the smell is sometimes annoying

Good apartment.

The apartment I lived in right now is the renovated one, the stove takes a long while to heat up that it takes a while to cook food, the fridge is so old and rusty, it has difficulty closing up (we have to put tape to shut the freezer), it's hard to drain the water out of the tab.. It was reported a couple of times by my roommate before, maintenance came by to fix the stove, but it still the same.

I did not face any difficulties finding one. I might got lucky. I believe there is always a queue of students in the waitlist. And some apartment with more carpet areas are pretty hard to find. In a nutshell, everything good except the carpet area. Small apartments.
