Overall, a great experience

I lived at this property for three years. I wanted to live a bit further away from campus and got very lucky in finding this apartment tucked away on a residential street. The apartment itself had just been renovated, though there was evidence that the craftsmanship was not quite excellent, but it was very comfortable. It was a bit small for two roommates, and we didn't get extra storage (I saw some storage areas for other units but we weren't assigned one), but we managed somehow because the kitchen had a surprising amount of cabinet space and the closets were surprisingly spacious.

My only gripe is that we lived in unit 3, which has units on either side and above. This is unique to that unit only. So we shared some sort of a wall with three separate units. Our bedrooms shared a wall with our neighbor's kitchen and living room-- I could sometimes hear their conversations word-for-word. It was pretty detrimental to quality of life at certain points and even considered doing some DIY sound insulation.

I really liked Everest Properties! I was nervous about asking for them to accommodate my emotional support animals (two cats) and the woman at the office was so nice about it. They have also been super responsive with every single issue that we've had. They are also great about communicating any inspections, changes in policy, etc. I knew that I could call them and get help ASAP.

I miss this apartment a lot. It was a dream apartment (minus the thin walls) and whoever lives there now hopefully enjoys it as much as I did.
