Gates at Citiplace

The apartment complex is nice and quiet. However, it is a bit far from campus. Getting to the law school in the mornings isn't too bad, but coming back around 2:50-3:30 PM is a hassle. Traffic on the highway and going down Perkins and college is awful. If you have a pet and plan to take them out during your break time, this complex is probably too far.

A little pricier but

I lived in other gated communities and this one has been the best. Mention that you are an LSU student and your security deposit goes down to about $75. It is amazing, safe and the apartment itself it's in really great shape, management is very efficient and you get a rewards program (I basically get $10 gift cards every month). 10/10 recommend.
