Great place to live but expensive
Maintenance quickly addresses any problems that are reported. The quality of apartment is excellent. The complex was originally full of young families, but recently has started to fill up with undergraduates. Great quality but pricey.

Faulkner Flats
Nicely laid out building with standard amenities-pool, exercise room, grills, club house, study room with printers and computers-plus a few more unique ones-car wash, dog park. HOWEVER, the clubhouse and study room are only open M-F 9-5 and Sat 9-1, not exactly peak usage. Given that nothing is included in the rent (even pest control is an extra monthly fee), there's not much value for the money. EVERYTHING is done digitally and staff have little to no flexibility when the technology glitches. Overall it's quiet, clean, and well-maintained, which is important, but there's also a lot of nickel & diming given the high base rent in the first place.

It's a really great complex. With an older crowd. Lots of law school students. Only about six minutes from the law school.

Faulkner Review
The management is quick to respond if there is an issue with an aspect of the facility. I feel very safe and the amenities are fantastic. It is very close to campus.

Trail Access
A big selling point for me is that the property has direct access to Whirlpool trails! Oxford University Transit (OUT) also runs from Faulkner Flats to campus. The pool area is really nice. There are multiple grills around the property. The staff is friendly and maintenance is quick and efficient. Some units have private garages. The complex has a mixture of families and graduate students. It is quiet and safe.
