Reserve on West 31st

It's super affordable, perhaps the cheapest in Lawrence. Another perk is that it's very close to grocery stores and other departmental stores- Walmart, Target, Ross, TJ Maxx, Aldi, etc. A new student should consider Reserve if they don't ride. There is also a bus stop at the Reserve.

The Reserve apartments are very affordable and are relatively nice for the cost. I am in a 4x4(four-bedroom, four-bathroom) NON-upgraded unit. I have no complaints about the quality of my apartment, although I have seen nicer/better ones. I have no problems with the quality of my apartment because it is cheap, $429 (with a $20 monthly concession because I signed on a promotion) a month. My biggest issue is the extremely slow response to maintenance/work order requests. I waited almost three months for them to replace a screen that was already damaged when I moved in, and a similar time for them to repair a threshold piece that was also damaged when I moved in. The staff/front desk employees are all nice, but maintenance is hardly responsive and takes forever to do anything. I currently have a work order in for my AC unit that stopped working, it has been a week and I doubt it will get fixed before winter comes. Another, minor, issue is how far it is from everything else in Lawrence, although granted I do not have car which would solve this issue completely.

Overall: decent quality, decent price, good community - quiet but friendly, bad maintenance response/response rate, bad location (for someone without a car)

The good part is that this housing is near the bus stop, grocery store and McDonald's. Its fairly cheap and the apartment is furnnished well

Great, because it is furnished at a low price. You don't have to worry much about furnishing.
