The Hub (Bowling Green, KY)

I love living at The Hub. There are many amenities including multiple gyms and a pool. It is right next to the Lovers Lane Soccer Complex where there is a great loop to walk. The people that live here are a good mix of all ages and many healthcare workers live here as well. I would say this is where a majority of medical students live. The only con of living here was when I lived in the "cottages" in back of the complex -- the walls were too thin. I moved units and have had no issues since! The maintenance workers are great and quick at responding. They work hard to keep the community beautiful as well. I have never felt unsafe here, even walking across the complex at night.

Great place

Love this apartment, it is a bit more expensive than I would like but worth it for the nice gym, pool, and park right next door

The Hub

Great amenities, but can hear neighbors. I would recommend getting a top floor apartment.

Amazing

The Hub in BG might be the best apartment complex in the country to be honest. Haven't seen a ton of them though. I can't even think of a negative. There's so many amenities and fun events. Some people complain about the cost, and I guess for BG it could be considered pricy, but compared to like anywhere else it's really not bad at all.

Really nice amenities, poor building materials require frequent maintenance

I love the location, the amenities, and the overall experience of living at the Hub. There is a lot of variation in experience however. For example, living on the ground floor there are lots of issues with our apartment and water as the porch above us does not have a roof that provides adequate runoff. Beyond that the porch ceiling is drywall which makes no sense as it is not weather resistant at all. There are also lots of places around windows and doors that allow air to flow which impacts our electricity bill and allows pests in. We have to be pretty proactive in management of that being on the ground floor. Also, some of the building material inside such as the cabinetry and borders around them are cheap and flimsy. Also there is lots a variability in the appliances including fixtures which can impact your experience a lot. We have tons of electrical issues and frequently have flipped breakers, problems with our microwave, and also we had a leaky faucet but the replacements are much cheaper than the initial install which means our water pressure is completely changed now. The Hub overall is very nice though. I think the community is probably the best to live in in Bowling Green. They have lots of gym equipment, pickleball courts, a very nice pool with a shack to order food, and great area for walking and very dog friendly. There is also very easy access to the Loops which is nice.

The Hub

The Hub has large floor plans and a ton of storage space. By far the best complex if you have a dog; so much green space and sidewalks and it’s right next to the loops walking path. Maintenance normally responds within a day and the office is very helpful. A lot of BG med students live here and it’s only a 12 min drive to the school. Definitely a pricier option for BG, but I would say it’s worth it.

The Hub Review

The Hub has a ton of great amenities that make it worth living here. There is a pool, pickle ball courts, fireplaces, gyms, outdoor places to relax. They will also organize different events for the residents to come and enjoy such as movie nights, farmer's markets, and coffee trucks. Their staff is also extremely nice and easy to talk to if there are any issues with your apartment. Overall, the apartments themselves are also very nice.
