Nice apartment near public transportation
The apartment is plenty of space for one person. The appliances in the kitchen are fairly new and work well. There is not a lot of sunlight and the bathroom is outdated but works. The management is a single owner who is very responsive and has sent maintenance out the same day. The location is right next to bus stop and close to fast food and grocery shopping. The walls however are extremely thin. I can hear a lot of what is going on in the apartment next door and above me. Thankfully, this hasn't really caused any issues.

Rent Prices are on the Rise
So, there is occasionally an issue with loud neighbors or bugs, but otherwise, this has been a good first apartment. The one thing that's difficult is that my rent went up 80 dollars when I renewed my lease. While we did get a slight pay increase this year, that won't always be the case, which means that if this pattern holds, I'll need to find a new apartment in the next year.
