The Rockland

The buildings are older and not all are well maintained. The units are quite large and pet friendly which is a huge plus. There is a bus stop just outside the complex that goes right to campus and near buy food places. The complex also has a pool, hot tub, and gym.

Not everyone has had a great experience here, but mine has not been terrible. Truthfully, with their new management, everyone has been very friendly and hard working, but requests are not always completed in a timely manner.

This is my second year living here, and I like it. It’s cheap, and there’s nothing bad about it.

It was dirty when I got there. I mean, a filthy dump. They don’t clean the place between residents. The walls are thin and therefore it’s noisy (it’s really a classic undergrad apartment complex with cheap rent so that’s not surprising). The apartment complex is very poorly looked after. They neglect trash pickup and it looks like nobody cares. Additionally I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to send me back my security deposit. I moved out end of July - it’s October now and I’m still waiting. Do not move in there.

Spacious rooms with their private bathrooms. They try to keep rent the same if you sign new leases early on. Their issues are related to garbage collection and keeping the place clean. But aside from that, it's a good place.

The rooms are good and spacious enough. Maintenance requests take a long time to be resolved so keep that in mind.

I love the space I have in my apartment, and I have an amazing roommate too. The apartment is very accommodating to me. I get some noises from the apartment next to mine but it hasn't extremely bothered me.
the complex is very close to many places I need to access e.g. malls and campus. the administration has so far responded swiftly to any queries I have had but my only complaint is the high electricity bills I have gotten.

It has just been a month there. One thing I can say is that it is expensive and liability insurance and internet was a hidden cost that i did not see coming.

Firstly, I had to live in a model due to previous tenants ruining it to the point of the city condemning the unit. The maintenance takes forever to get back to you. Apartments were not cleaned or maintained going into move in.

Not a great area, very loud - people fight outside at 3 am and others in my building play loud music in the middle of the night. management is useless, and property is poorly maintained.
