Nielsen Square Condos

I’ve loved living at Nielsen! My condo has plenty of space and the garage during the winter was very useful. The location is fantastic (10-15 min walk to the med school/hospital). While it does not have amenities like a gym or pool, the NCRB is a short drive away and there are neighboring apartment buildings where many other medical students live if you have friends there.

Apartment complex is great. Sometimes finding parking can be an issue with spots filling up, but management is great.

Amazing, very spacious. More homey than a typical college apartment. Townhouse. I have 3 other roommates, 4bed 2bath, in unit washer dryer, 3 parking spots with the place and we rent one more, two levels

Very nice kitchen and common area. Only able to live in this apartment with classmates that I am close with. Not a place for pets

Pros: Comfortable, spacious, well-lit condo. Close distance to medical campus. Close to buses that make it convenient to get everywhere. Individually owned condos means everyone has a different experience with maintenance is based on their condo's owner. My landlord is very responsive! Cons: Not sound-proof; my room neighbors my roommates and I can hear phone conversations word for word. The neighborhood is boring and a student bubble.

I enjoy my spacious apartment, its close location to the hospital and medical school, although it is a bit pricey. Definitely would recommend however if willing to pay the rent. Most of these condos house three people but we only have two people in ours, which has its pros.

Wonderful unit

We love living in Neilson given its proximity to the hospital, parking (1 outdoor parking pass per unit and 1 or 2 garage spots per unit depending on if you have a 2 or 3 bed unit), and it is relatively quiet! Recommend trying to take over a lease from graduating M4s and starting to look around early, these units go fast! Bonus if you can snag a corner unit (way more sunlight!)
