Nielsen Square Condos

Pros: Comfortable, spacious, well-lit condo. Close distance to medical campus. Close to buses that make it convenient to get everywhere. Individually owned condos means everyone has a different experience with maintenance is based on their condo's owner. My landlord is very responsive! Cons: Not sound-proof; my room neighbors my roommates and I can hear phone conversations word for word. The neighborhood is boring and a student bubble.

Right near the hospital, enough room for everyone

Very reasonable priced rooms, but varies whether you are in a 2 BR vs 4BR. Nicer than med center court, island drive apt, etc. in white coat area. Beekman is also a very nice complex but very very expensive.

Affordable, spacious, convenient, old appliances, slightly strange decor/wallpaper

I live in a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom, with 3 others - it get's crowded in the kitchen sometimes but otherwise very spacious. Some condos are remodeled, so each one depends on the individual landlord. Has a nice courtyard. Definitely a step up from other places in white coat (excluding Beakman)

I love Nielsen! Great location and beautiful outdoor and front entrance. The condos seem to be well insulated and sound proofed, I very rarely hear other tenants, with the exception of the garage door below my room opening. My only complaint would be about parking - my apartment has 2 spots (one garage and one outdoor) for 3 tenants. Furthermore, there are not enough outdoor spots for number of passes they give out. The parking lot also doesn't have marked spots, so people park far apart sometimes which also creates less spots overall. Would be great if they repainted lines!

- built in the early 2000s so newer than other options in white coat

This is one of the best condos within Nielsen. It is recently renovated and is managed by a very reliable housing company. No complaints, except for not too much natural sunlight.
