Great apartment

Gateway Lofts offers newer, luxury apartments that are in a prime location on Michigan Avenue, which was my favorite part about it. I would often walk into downtown East Lansing in the summer months and had a quick ride to school or activities in the winter. Everything is updated in these apartments, which is fantastic, and the management team is even better and tries very hard to create a sense of community here. It is safe and you have to get into the actual building with a key fob, so no one is getting in without them knowing or being with a resident. Also, living above the best coffee shop (Hooked) was fantastic for being a student. The downsides, however, were the space for the pricing. It is very expensive and has little closet space. Also, the windows are cheaper and not sealed well, so it often was very cold in the winter and became expensive to heat the apartment. Otherwise, this apartment treated me very well for over 2 years and I would suggest to other to live there if it is within their budget.
