Decent accommodation for the price
Older styled apartments, A/C unit in one room, older kitchen/bathroom. Free use of 1washer/1dryer in building - shared among 12 units. Great location in terms of next to the Lansing trails, close to McLaren, and south of campus (away from campus traffic). Haven't had any major problems. Pool is fine. Tennis courts x2, with pickle ball markings, resurfaced 2yrs ago.

Mostly solid for a cheaper place
Upsides:
It has the basics for 1-2 bdrm apartments in 3 story buildings. Nice location right off one of the Lansing paved trails; and nearby a few parks. The layout feels decently spacious for ~800 sqft. Balcony for 2nd and third levels (1st floor is half underground). Allows dogs in certain dog-friendly buildings. Pickleball court.
Downsides:
Interior kitchen/bathroom is not updated, though they did replace the carpets before we moved in. No microwave. Location is right next to a highway and in the building units near the highway, the noise is LOUD, especially if ever want to open a window or sit on a balcony. We put a fan on every night and can still hear when a really loud truck goes by. Washer/dryer in the basement of each building (shared with rest of building), but sometimes they don't work.
