Closest you can get to campus but very noisy and fluctuating landlord responsiveness
All my friends are envious about how close I am to campus. This is really the closest you can get for a really reasonable price, with no-frills facilities (no gym, no parking, no elevator, a laundry room shared across each floor). Also very close to great food on Durant (1 min walk) that is student-budget-friendly and opens til late, with the downside that it gets noisy (my window oversees Durant and Telegraph) with post-clubbing or post-football crowds and live music even at 11pm.
The landlord's responsiveness fluctuates. The resident manager is amazing (lives in, easily contactable on imessage), the maintenance staff do respond within the week once a ticket is addressed by office staff and redirected appropriately. But some things like laundry room maintenance takes forever, partly because it's sub-contracted to CSC. Our dryer's coin slot has been non-functional and due for collection for 4 weeks and this still has not been resolved despite weekly emails. Common areas also are not the cleanest - the building corridors smell terrible, laundry rooms can be pretty dusty and grimy, and some weeks there are piles of garbage in corridors (irresponsible other building tenants, a lot of whom are undergrads).
