Claiming to be a luxury building, but a mess overall

This building is raising prices in the claims it is a "luxury" property, when in reality, the quality of living in this building is awful. Cracked walls, poor construction, no underlayment between the cement floors and vinyl flooring so dips in floors and you can her every step above you, thin walls, persistent leaks, pests, constant filth in common areas, security is lacking (shy of fobs for building and floor access), one tube hvac system (so either the whole building uses AC or Heat, no one can use AC in the spring or heat once AC is on), lagging responses to maintenance requests, among so many other things.

Very happy with my living arrangements

My requirements for my graduate student housing search were pet-friendly, utilities included, on-site gym, and (of course) convenient location. The Windsor does a great job with these things, and their rooftop pool and attentive staff are wonderful bonuses. Two disadvantages to note are that 1) whether the building (and thus also each unit) is set to heating or cooling is up to management to schedule throughout the year, and 2) the units are already wired for Comcast's Xfinity, so there isn't a practical alternative for internet. Despite these disadvantages, I am extremely happy with my choice to rent here, and I plan on living here all 5+ years of my graduate program.

The Windsor

Gym included, pool included. Large utility fee ($150 a month) but at least then I don't have to worry about a large bill for blasting my AC during this super hot summer. I love having a large balcony and view of this great city. This apartment has 4 closets, three of which are walk in closets. This definitely helped keep our place neat and organized when living with a partner.

Windsour

It is in very good area, with a lot of restaurants and a pool with a nice view to the city. It is near to night club and park for walk or bike close to the river and New Jersey. Good for transportation and walk to chopper. Farmer's market, not pests, good museum.

Great location and modern amenities

The features are very nice, but the apartment has seemed smaller than before in the last few weeks. The studios are large and a good deal, but 1 bedrooms are a little on the pricey side. Pool and front desk is a great feature to have. Elevators are sometimes slow.
