Windsor at Broadway Station - Very Good

Windsor at Broadway Station is in a nice location for transiting and commuting. It offers easy access to Northbound and Southbound I-25 and Santa Fe Blvd. Broadway Station is a 10-minute walk, which makes it easy to take the light rail to other places throughout the greater Denver area. The complex is expansive, with hundreds of units to choose from, with a variety of floor plans and sizes. It is considered a luxury apartment complex, so utilities factor in community-wide needs such as pest control, trash management, and more. This can make utilities a little on the pricier side, and I've noticed that utilities cost anywhere from $100-$180, depending on the time of year. Parking options are limited and pricey. Your options are (1) covered, reserved parking for $100/mo, (2) uncovered, unreserved parking, and (3) free street parking. My partner uses street parking, while I use covered reserved parking. The street parking isn't too cumbersome, but depending on the day and time, it can be hard to find a spot. The parking garage is pretty secure, and they use a fob system that's attached to a vehicle, so random vehicles can't just drive in.
As for community amenitites, they offer a gym, pool and hot tub, barbecue grills, several dog parks and turf grass, and community center. The gym is pretty decent, with a variety of free-weights and machines. The grills are gas grills, and they usually work. I don't have a dog, but I know other members of the community use the parks without issue. The community center is pretty nice and spacious. The pool is alright, I've seen much nicer pools at "luxury apartments" but it is Denver, so people really only use it for a few months out of the year. The surrounding area is pretty nice, with a Sprouts, Safeway, Costco, Sam's Club, either walking distance or a short drive away. It's close to the South Broadway bar and restaurant district, Pearl St. District, and this area of Broadway is also home to great restaurants and bars in its own right.

My particular floor plan has a problem with temperature control because the only logical place to put my TV is right next to the thermostat, so when the TV is on for a little bit, the thermostat thinks the apartment is hotter than it actually is. Management is great, but sometimes their communicative relationship with maintenance is spotty.

Windsor at Broadway Station - Very Good

I have lived at this apartment complex for a month so far and I don't have many complaints. The amenities are great and well-maintained for the most part. The complex is secure. However, I have pointed out maintenance issues with my apartment that have yet to be resolved. Some amenities, such as grills, have been broken for some time and haven't been repaired yet.

Windsor

Modern apartment in a really fun location (on S Broadway - lots of restaurants and bars and shops and other apartments). One block down from a light rail station. I take the train to campus so I don’t have to pay for campus parking. Campus is 2 stops down from me. Apartment is pet friendly and has a pool and a grill/hangout/common area. Secured mail room, but sometimes packages get stolen.

Excellent Unit, Iffy Location

The apartment is generally really nice. Nice amenities. Some crime right around our building, including within the "secure" parking garage.

Beautiful Facility, but Noisy

Overall, this is a very nice apartment to live in. The management is responsive, and maintenance is as well. The facilities include an outdoor pool, patios, outdoor grills for common use, a gym, and a study area that includes a common printer. The only gripe I have with this building is the noise level. Because it is very pet friendly, there are many dog owners that live here. As a result, there is almost constant barking echoing through our courtyard throughout the day/into the night. Additionally, the walls are pretty thin, because I am able to hear my downstairs neighbor almost as if he is in my apartment.
