The apartment has a small dog park in the courtyard that has been such a help for me to keep my dog active. It's also been a great way to meet other residents in the building. It has a gym in the building, in-unit laundry, and it's right next to the Waterfront station metro stop. It's cheaper than the the equivalent apartment in Foggy Bottom.

Our apartment is incredible. Newly renovated with TONS of natural light with floor-to-ceiling glass. The rooftop pool has a young vibe to it with lots of people that are social and like to have fun. Everyone in this complex is super friendly. One downside is they have had a lot of changes with management so I feel there is a disconnect of communication when things go wrong in the building. They won’t compensate you for things that go wrong in the building that you can’t control. It’s in their lease so be cautious of that! Otherwise, I’ve loved living here. Sunday free breakfast. Saturday’s there is a mini-farmers market right outside. And you can’t beat the location with being so close to the wharf and the Navy Yard area! They’re pet-friendly too and have a dog washing station within.

I have lived here for three years now. The apartment complex is conveniently located to metro, shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. The rooftop has wonderful views and a great pool. Nice amenities like grills outside and rooftop loungers. Maintenance is always very responsive and the concierge is always willing to help.

Clean - easy to work with - good location - small space for what you pay - lots of food traffic due to new WHARF which has made it safer - grocery and metro just steps away that make it easy for commuting and get groceries - close to Nats park and WHARF

The apartment is very reasonably priced for the luxury unit and amenities. It has great closet space and good sized bedrooms. I also love the open concept of our living room and kitchen. The rooftop is very nice with amazing views, but I wish the pool was larger.

The building tenants are great... we have a roof deck with a (tiny) pool. There is a dog park so that’s a major bonus except there is never any maintenance done to keep it sanitary at the very least
If you need help, have an emergency or a simple request... DONT expect any sort of reasonable help let alone ANY assistance whatsoever.

The Lex is great for working professionals and couples. It's pet friendly (private dog park), Monday night neighbor potlucks, yoga, lounge w/ pool table, Conference room, BBQ area, rooftop pool & lounge, two blocks from the Wharf & next to Metro! Overall Great!

The apartment is great. Diverse residents, pet friendly, great common areas. Incredible views from the roof, gym, dog run, barbecue grills, small pool.

I was initially quite hesitant to move into the Lex. The building name is absurd. However, the community is wonderful. There are people who have lived here for a while who frequently meet in the common areas for get togethers or to watch sports. New comers are welcome.
The building has great amenities. Plus, being right next to a grocery store that is not expensive Whole foods is A+.
Complaints: The air flow from the heating system in a lot of the apartments is not very efficient. To be fair, I've never been too cold or too hot, it is just a sort of strange set up.

Lex is located conveniently 300 feet from the waterfront metro, has 5 star amenities, and is brand new. The apartments are reasonably priced, and super nice. Unfortunately, the management of the building is awful. Elevators are out constantly, security is not enforced, common areas are overcrowded.
