I cannot recommend this property

I have lived here since 2011. During the first year, my rent was $1000 for a 3rd floor one bedroom. My second year it jumped to $1300. Now it is $1408, even though it's being advertised online for $1200. The pool is green, not blue as shown in their marketing, and didn't open for more than a few days this summer because of maintenance issues. The hot tub has been closed for months. And now the cabana with the games room and gym has been closed indefinitely as well. Management response has been vague and nonchalant. I have been told that the amenities do not factor into the cost of rent, and that even though this complex is owned by a national real estate company, there is no one higher up I can speak to. I will be moving out as soon as possible and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Which is a shame because it's a great location and my first year here (under different management) was very enjoyable.
