New building but very close to transit

Qlic has taken a bit of time to be up and running. The courtyard is still being renovated but at least the gym has opened and there is a lovely common room. The staff is very nice and the apartments themselves are quite good.
One thing it could do without is Scandals, a strip club right across the street. The train is incredibly close but not sure if this is enough to keep me here.

Astoria Reviews

Pleasant area! Always something going on or a new place opening up!
Great location that is not too far from school, and near lots of restaurants and shops. Very young and lively area.
Pros- close to the city, safe, a lot of young people. Get more bang for your buck in terms of rent, as opposed to the city.

Cons - not quite like being in the city
Lots of noise, no nearby grocery stores or pharmacies, seedy strip clubs
Astoria has great restaurants and bars, and it's very family-oriented and safe. I live right next to a middle school and a park, and there are always lots of kids around. You get more space for less money, and it's a lot quieter than Manhattan!
I love Astoria! It's nice to be a little removed from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
Great food. A couple of cool bars. Not a strong nightlife scene. Safe. Could use a better park.
It’s lovely. Plenty of places to eat and activities to do around the neighborhood. It’s really safe at all times of the day.
