Great Value

3 minutes from Midtown, 5 minutes from Grady and 12-15 from Emory and the VA. It’s a 2 minute walk to the Freedom Trail, 10 minute walk from the belt line and 10 minutes from Central Park which has tennis courts. These apartments are larger than most other places at this price point, nicely renovated on the inside, and I don’t get much noise from neighbors. There’s a pool that’s nice and a gym with all the basic equipment and lots of space to spread out if someone else is already there.

The downsides: management isn’t terrible but you will have to go to the office in person if you need something. The building and parking garage are secure but the neighborhood is “up and coming.” I still go out for walks in the evening but I’m selective about the direction I pick.

It's okay

It's my first place. I wish that they had water, parking and reliable handymen included. The location is nice, near krog street market. Transit is right in front of the door. The complex is pet friendly as well. The hours of the office could be better.

Living next to Ponce City Market is a huge bonus! Great place for shopping and buying gifts but also for quick delish dinners. Many other great restaurants are within walking distance on the beltline and surrounding. OFW is also very close to Inman Park where a lot of the restaurants are located. It is also a short 20 minute walk to Krog Street Market which is similar to Ponce City Market and has a lot of good food stands and restaurants.
Up and coming neighborhood that’s very walkable. Very fun to walk in the neighborhoods and see cute 100 year old houses next to modern construction. Close to all the hospitals.
The best neighborhood in Atlanta. Feels safer than midtown. Feels quiet. Very walkable with a ton of bars and restaurants.
A neighborhood that's constantly growing. The park is a jewel -- there's places to go for runs, peaceful runs, and to play with pets. It's at the heart of the beltline with Ponce City Market on one side, Krog Street Market on the other, and new places like Common Grounds and New Realm in the middle. You won't have high-rises here like in Midtown, but you'll have the space to move around and have a lot of great neighborhood places to hang out.
Old Fourth Ward is awesome - it has an urban feel and hasn't been entirely gentrified, which I like, and they've done a good job of taking some of the older buildings and repurposing them to keep some of the soul of the place. I fear they're going to go too far with it, but for now, it's awesome. So close to restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, basically everything you could think of. That said, you do have to be careful at night - we've had some crime in the neighborhood, but as long as you're mindful, you should be OK.
Ponce City Market, plenty of places to eat, several parks and the Beltline and all in this neighborhood. The downside is that LOTS of festivals and event are held in the area so roads will close and there is a ton of noise and foot traffic when it happens.
I love it here - lots of bars and restaurants, the BeltLine is right here, and it's very walkable. It's also between the hospitals - Grady and Midtown are a 5-10 min drive, and Emory and the VA are more like 20-30.
Such a great neighborhood for young students and families. There are great restaurants and opportunities to socialize (while socially-distancing!)
