Writing for a friend who rented here - Infested, Under Investigations Prior, and Unlivable
1. This place is condemned. Roach infestations amongst other bugs. My friend lived here and I kid you not, we saw a slug come out of her outlet.
2. Holes in water heater area in walls - you can't stop the bugs here because they have holes in the apartment. Hole also in her kitchen in the appliance section.
3. Management ignores you most of the time or does the bare minimum to help after you've sent multiple notices. Their response is that all they can do is just provide pest control or maintenance can come take a look - with crappy workmanship provided and deemed still not fixed (legally).
4. Will charge you for unpaid lease balance, although in Texas Law Help guide (for example): If the repairs still aren’t made, here are some options: Terminate the lease: If repairs aren’t made, you gave proper notice, and you don’t owe rent, you can terminate your lease. Give written notice about why you are terminating and if known, add the date you will vacate the unit. You have the right to a refund for rent already paid for the days you won’t be there. You are entitled to a refund of your security deposit minus damages the landlord can deduct according to your lease.
5. If you have any health conditions, they will surely enhance here because this place is disgusting and you can't safely or healthily live in any unit.
6. Neighbor across from my friend's apartment confirmed he has had a huge roach problem, too and that office is of no help.
7. Lots of traffic and weed smell, and drugs seem to be rampant based on the traffic excess/the time of traffic is even late at night in excess. (I work in law enforcement :])
8. Car was broken into (attempt made) and from this attempt, my friends car now has a huge set of cracks in her windshield on her right side.
* My last review was deleted. I am redoing because THE TRUTH NEEDS TO STAY out on the web. DO NOT RENT HERE. They will suck you in with the affordable price, and then leave you out to the wolves. Or should I say roaches!

Okay complex
Great staff, very hard working. Social place, lots of students. Just an old complex, instead of new appliances they try to keep things until they are "dead". I wish they would update the residents' apts who have been living here for a long time. 3+yr

Old
It's an old building that regularly needs maintenance. The price is high because of location. If they want people to pay that much, they should update all apartments. The staff is pretty good, they try to fix things as best as possible. They are very social and the management has changed for the better.

Decent Apartment
Decent apartment in a great spot. You are paying for the location. 5 minutes to anything downtown. The complex is old but the renovations are nice. If you're from South Austin youll understand when the plumbing or lights go out, anyone else will get pissed. All in all a decent place to live for an ok prices as of jan 2016. Dont settle for an old plan go for an upgraded apartment.

Look elsewhere!
They are old, overpriced apartments. Until recently the maintenance crew was a disaster. Samantha is very difficult to work with, she left me with a broken fridge for a whole month. I had to threaten to call the housing agency. Old appliances, old carpet, old A/C, old everything. It just is not worth the money. They want to treat it like a sky rise because Austin is booming but really, it's just trash that college kids and low income residents have to deal with. I can't wait to move out when my lease is up!
