The Sidney

A great value in a wonderful location. If you're on a budget and want to live in Hyde Park, The Sidney is a great choice. The apartments aren't going to have granite countertops and beautiful fixtures, but that's not the appeal. Within walking distance of the Triangle and close to the UT and downtown bus lines.

Best place to live in Austin if you’re a UT student imo. Very safe area, high walkability, several grocery stores, coffee shops, and small bars close by
Best place to live as a grad student who is not trying to go out on the town every week. Quiet and safe, lots of restaurants and shops.
Very central location. Lots of students, young professionals, and families in the area. There are some local restaurants and shops in the neighborhood that are easy to walk to. Very safe neighborhood as well.
It’s a great neighborhood filled with fun things to do
Hyde Park is quiet and pretty. There are a few interesting spots, but you have to go out of the neighborhood to get to the really interesting parts of Austin.
love it; best place to live in Austin
Close to transit and walking distance from parks and grocery stores.
Good location but gentrified af
