Refurbished Unit
The Penthouse is a rather old property. I was fortunate to get one of the few units that was refurbished very recently. The unit itself is great - everything is brand new from floor, paint, to appliance. It does not have an in-unit laundry facility. No gym, pool, or any of that. It also does not have a secured perimeter or gate. However, it is probably one of the closest apartments there is to Rowling Hall (literally 1.5 blocks away).

Great Value!!
Apartment sizes are big. No noise. Not very modern kitchen/bathroom. Very close to school. Low rent. Overall great value!!

Great value for an older complex
I have lived in the same apartment for 2.5 years now and I have stayed because of the price-location advantage. For a downtown, single, roomy bedroom apartment, I feel like I am paying a very reasonable price. No amenities, but close to everything - like I'm able to walk to my downtown job in about 20 minutes and Town Lake is a 1.25 mile run.
