Solid building
When I first moved into the Wanamaker, they were doing construction on the roof of the parking garage that shook most of the building. So loud I could not study and definitely could not sleep. That lasted for 1 week.
Since then (over a year ago), I have had no problems. The only surprising negatives have been 1) the pool is only open for about 3 months per year (June-August) and 2) the walls are so thin I can hear my neighbor's phone ring.

Wanamaker is good value, but definitely not "premium" option
This building is good value for a high rise in the CC/RQ area with the amenities (e.g., lobby/front desk, etc.); however, there are definitely much nicer options that likely cost more.

You Can Get Cheaper, But I Don't Regret Choosing Wanamaker
Packages system could be run better. There are limits on when you can pick up packages and the system is not totally digitized / reliable. Can't have late parties. Skimpy on repairs in apartment - we are often charged for lightbulbs and things. Restrictions on when cars can park outside of Wanamaker so it's not always easy to get food deliveries.

LOVE IT
Wannamaker has a great management team that takes care of your needs and address all issues within 24-48 hours. Although the place is pricey, it is good for young professionals like myself if one can afford it. There are amazing restaurants in the neighborhood which makes living here even more fun!

Great of Wharton MBAs
There are a lot of Wharton MBAs here. Studio is large and works well for one person. Location and doormen were great and very convenient. Some of the bathrooms and kitchens are outdated, so state of update and prices will vary.

Great building
Great location for school - 25 minute walk, or 10 minute bus ride (bus stop is right across the street). Building maintenance is responsive. Doormen are friendly. The package collection system is a bit of a pain (two doormen need to be around for one of them to man the desk, the other to collect your package).
I have direct contact with my landlord, so repairs are easily signed off - I hear that is not the case with Allan Domb so check.
Apartment itself is a studio, and is spacious. There is a washing machine and dryer on every floor ($2 per use per machine). The building is old, so there is a fair amount of dust.
All in all - great for the price, very sociable, and lots of Wharton students live here.

Well-located in center city and 20-minute walk to Wharton
Apartments differ a lot in this building. I suggest you visit them before signing the rent. Most of them are managed by Alan Domb Real Estate. They ask for the equivalent rent of 4 months in advance, not ideal. However, we had two complaints regarding curtains and sink maintenance and they accepted to execute the repairments without any extra cost, so I'm satisfied so far.

Great location
Perfect for campus, 2401 and Center City. Feels safe because it's off a main road which is well lit.

Great building
Perfect location for Wharton students. The apartments are large and have lots of light, and the building staff is great.

Safe choice with a lot of Wharton students, but could get more value for money elsewhere
Wanamaker has been a great place to stay, with access to a gym for no additional cost. The unit I stay in has old appliances which need some repair, but management have been quite responsive. Doormen are present 24x7 and are quite helpful. Wanamaker rent is on the more expensive side though, so there may be other options that offer more value for money.

Rittenhouse Square Reviews
Spruce Street in particular is great - it's a little south of the square, so is quieter/shielded from a lot of the traffic that the neighborhood gets, but it's not out of the way or far away. There's a Starbucks, a grocery store (Rittenhouse Market), and a few corner stores (Four Seasons and Food & Friends) within a 2-3 minute walk of my apartment.
