There are many better options

While the front desk / security staff are very kind and a few of the leasing agents are good, Overall management is lacking at best. It has taken months to remedy issues caused by other tenants. There is a constant focus on cost saving leaving them hesitant to fully repair things. A club across the street throws Sunday evening parties that can clearly be heard through the thin windows until 2 am. There are many other options - I would look elsewhere knowing what I know now.

Great Location & Amenities

I have loved living at 77 12th. My apartment has upgraded finishes and is spacious. The building also has everything I need including covered and secure parking, a nice gym, great pool and outdoor grilling area, and a business center with a printer. The staff at the building are also very friendly and helpful. I also love the location - midtown is not far from anywhere I would want to go, and with my dog I love being so close to Piedmont Park!

Best high-rise in Midtown

I work down at Emory Hospital in Midtown and I love the location of 77 12th. The amenities are fabulous, tons of great restaurants and bars just steps outside the front door. The pool deck is phenomenal, the best I've been to in Midtown. Management is very responsive. This is the ideal place for a working professional.

Upscale feeling in Midtown

I believe the building is fairly new because every apartment is beautifully finished and doesn't show a sign of aging. The gym, pool, and activity areas are pristine and very well maintained. I personally think the gym is well-equipped and overlooks a huge portion of the downtown area. The pool area is absolutely stunning, plus the pool is big (some midtown apartments have bath-tub sized pools!). It is somewhat pricey, a one-bedroom can go up to $2200, but really the feeling of this complex is so upscale, so I think it's a real bang for your buck.

Definitely worth my money

One of the best places I have lived in. My favorite part is the the amenity area on the top floor. Great workout equipment, lounge to hangout in and the pool table. The swimming pool is incredible too and is super clean. I like the fact that it is in the same building as Princi and Tabla, two of my favorite restaurants. Overall, would recommend!

The best that Midtown has to offer

This building, like many I looked at in Midtown, has a great location: the MARTA is 2.5 blocks away; it's an easy walk to Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the High Museum and more; you can walk to the grocery store (Publix, with a Whole Foods coming soon); and you are spoiled for choice when it comes to great restaurants within a three-block radius.
What made me choose this place over the others is the energetic, upbeat vibe: the residents are primarily young professionals living la dulce vita; you are almost guaranteed to run into a friendly, goofy dog in the elevator; the apartments are airy and full of light; folks in the leasing office (especially Nicole) are bouncy, helpful and super-sweet; and the gym is so well-equipped and spacious, with such a killer view from the floor-to-ceiling windows, that even I am motivated to work out.
If you're looking for the best that Midtown has to offer, folks -- this is it. I'm putting my money where my mouth is, by the way: while I originally only planned to stay for a year, I just signed on for another 18 months.

Ok place, not great

I have lived here for a while. It's pretty good, some maintenance issues, loud tenants, etc. but you can't beat the location - you can walk to a lot of good restaurants and bars and more are coming all the time. I also like the floor to ceiling windows, which women-folk like as well when I bring them up to my crib.

Great place to live in Midtown

I've really liked living at 77 12th. The building is a really great location and the amenities are fantastic. The pool is amazing and I love the view from our gym. The building is a little on the pricey side, but I really can't complain. Management has been pretty easy to work with as well.

Great high-rise living, especially for the summer.

This apartment has a great location. Beautiful view from just about every spot in the building. The pool is one of the best attractions, especially in the summer. Residentail Manager and the leasing office staff are polite, professional, and very responsive. Maintenance issues get resolved in a timely fashion. I was impressed with the amenities. Socially, it seems more of a who's who environment but that's a moot point because you can't really control that. Parking is okay. Tenants guests park in spots they should not be but there is a garage. I personally think they should have security make sure that guests park where they are supposed to, especially if it's a paid parking spot.

Very walkable and you have everything within arm's reach.

Nighttime is very dependent on where you live, but there can be a lot of noise from street racing and other safety issues.

That being said, northern midtown is a great area and allows an easy commute to campus.
A lot of places to go, a lot of restaurants and supermarket walking distance.
The complex is less than several blocks shy of many of Atlanta's top-rated cafes and restaurants. Its also close the the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, so that's very cool. Grocery store is nearby as well. It's a bit of a stretch to walk to the College of Business and further into GA Tech campus (7 blocks or more) but because of the distance not a lot of loud college students come here, so the building is always quiet. That's not to say there's no social scene here, the area surrounding plus the complex's activity room provide fun meet-up spots.
I love living in midtown - I can easily access great restaurants, my job, and my friends. Where I live, it is very safe. A few blocks down is a little seedier. I love living right by the park. There are relatively few vagrants. Cons, parking is expensive here. Amenities are kind of sub par. Major pro is no driving! I fill up my car maybe once every 2 months. I don't have to take many cabs. Close to Marta if I need it.
I love the location of this community. It is directly across from the Arts Center Marta station and has several restaurants that are in walking distance. The Marta station offers a free shuttle to Atlantic Station which is a 5 minute ride to great shopping and dining.
Best location in the city....Piedmont Park, concert venues, amazing restaurants..not much else you can ask for. Safe neighborhood and very dog friendly!
Midtown is better than it used to be, but still not a paradise of safety and contentment. One of the most (if not the most) walkable areas in Atlanta, there are at least three MARTA stations (North Avenue, Midtown, and Arts Center) to get you into the area, lots of bus lines, and the Eastern Beltline dividing us from ViHi. Great restaurants, some shopping (higher rents are driving a lot of places out), beautiful Piedmont Park - all great things.

Extremely LGBTQ friendly area, especially at the corner of 10th and Piedmont. More skewed towards gay men than lesbians, though.

Crime is something of a rollercoaster - things will seem great for a while and then there'll be a few armed muggings or house robberies and everyone freaks out. Pay attention to your surroundings and don't be afraid to call the police if you feel unsafe! Basic advice for anywhere in the city, really.
Great for walking, tons of restaurants and bars, easy access to Piedmont Park
