Westside

Westside sits right on top of the Ashley River and acts as a traditional neighborhood within the city of Charleston. The town is known for its greenspace and natural scenery thanks to all of the neighborhood fields and parks. Brittlebank Park is the most popular park in the area as it offers a great view of the Ashley River along with a fishing pier and walking trail. Right in town is also the Johnson Hagood Memorial Stadium, which is home to The Citadel Bulldogs football team, perfect for anyone interested in the local sports events.

Even though the Westside neighborhood is a traditional setting, there is still a great food scene. Restaurants that are either in or near town include Uneeda Sicilian, Huriyali, Leon's, and Little Jack's Tavern. Bars that are great for drinks include Aqua Terrace Roof-Top Bar, Elliotborough Mini Bar, Recovery Room Tavern, and Warehouse. Westside is a great spot to live for anyone who prefers a quiet setting while also having the city of Charleston just a short drive away.
