Harleston Village

Harleston Village is a historic neighborhood that dates back all the way to the 1700’s. It is home to the College of Charleston, the thirteenth oldest college in America. Many of the students that attend classes at the College of Charleston choose to live at Harleston Village for a quick and convenient commute. Colonial Lake Park is a popular spot to go to for the residents of Harleston Village. At this dog-friendly park, locals like to fish, go for a walk, or just enjoy the scenery.

Just outside of town are plenty of restaurants and bars for food and or drinks. This is a great perk for those that live in Harleston Village. Many of the students that attend the College of Charleston like to go out to eat and hang out at bars on their days off. Popular restaurants include Le Farfalle, The Palmetto Cafe, Basic Kitchen, and Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe. Bars in the area include A C's Bar & Grill, Charleston Beer Works, and Blind Tiger Pub. Harleston Village is a great spot to live that is perfect for College of Charleston students.
