Most buildings are above sea level giving many units and high rise condominiums spectacular views of the water. It is also home to the most popular movie theater in the city and the famous Fox and Obel food market. Due to its smaller size, most amenities, entertainment destinations and great restaurants are a short walk away.

River East — 8.2/10 Rating (based on 6 neighborhood reviews)
It's tough in the summer with all of the tourists running in and out of Navy Pier. Lakeshore also floods right outside of the building, but it's always bustling and it feels safe. It's great to have the Target right down the street and several grocery stores in the neighborhood.

Very touristy. Downfall of being so close to Navy Pier we get a lot of people on vacation and becomes crowded

I think the area is nice because there is so much around... but it can get a little hectic with tourists since it is so close to Navy Pier. Especially in the summer. It is a little bit of an older crowd- I am 25 and am considered young. But everyone is nice and there is a lot to do

I like the Streeterville neighborhood so far, there is a good amount of grocery stores and restaurants. My only complaint is that there is limited El train lines in the area.

It is close to Navy Pier although you don't get that busy tourist feel due to the location of the building.

Close to grocery stores (Whole Foods and Treasure Island), Target Express opening later in 2015, about a 10 minute walk to red line subway but lots of nearby bus lines, LA Fitness and Planet Fitness are the closest gyms. Safe area with high foot traffic towards Navy Pier.
