Gold Coast — 8.2/10 Rating (based on 10 neighborhood reviews)
The neighborhood is great for sightseeing or grabbing a bite to eat with family and friends. Luxury shopping is within a 5 minute walk of the building. The only con about the building is that parking is $200 a month but the pro about it is that it is valet parking.

I live on North Ave and Dearborn Parkway! The area is safe, close to the like and public transit. The only downside is that parking in the buildings is expensive and street cleaning is a huge pain from April-October if you have a car. I've been there two years and love it!

I absolutely love this area... It is right in the middle of everything from downtown and River North, up to Old Town and Lincoln Park. It is wonderful in the summer with the beaches so close.

The Gold Coast is definitely and expensive neighborhood. While there are many expensive restaurants, bars, and shops, it is a great, central location.

This location is really the best. You are walking distance to the loop and Michigan Ave, but it has a very neighborhood feel. And of course you are right by the beaches, tons of restaurants, and lots of shops.

I've lived in the Gold Coast for 12 years. I love the neighborhood, but it lacks new developments (that are under a million dollars per unit). The Gold Coast is as safe as you're going to get in Chicago. There are so many places and other neighborhoods that are in walking distance. Being on the lakefront, I believe the Gold Coast is the best neighborhood in the city.
