Excellent
Overall great experience renting from Wake Forest University. The price is the best around and it includes utilities. It is very walkable from campus. I'm happy with it. I will say though, the campus housing is not the most accommodating for married couples when one person is not a student. If that is your situation, look elsewhere. They also will not allow pets.
Wake Housing
Living in the Graduate Student Housing is an awesome opportunity for Law Students. Many of the properties are right by campus, they're super cheap compared to the local apartments, and you're often paired with international students, or at least students from a different background. I've loved my time in grad student housing and plan to stay.
Great Value
Super close to campus ~4mins to get to Farrell; very safe extremely quiet mostly grad students so no music or parties or malfeasance
Cheap and close
It has been good. I live with random roommates and share a bathroom. The house is a little dark but the price is good and utilities are included. I am also a waking distance to campus. I would have preferred to live in a newer apartment but this living situation had caused me no issues.
An Ok Place
The place is an okay place to live at. The house has fruit flies no matter where you go. The carpets need a deep clean as it has pet hair on the floor and will not disappear after vacuuming. One of the fridges is outdated. The floors are old so they tend to squeak when walking around the house.
My experiences
As I always said, it is the right place for the students who want to focus on their goals.
Little House on Polo
The house is cozy and accessible to the Polo side of campus. Living with randomized roommates is a gamble, but both years I’ve had good experiences. The house is not updated and the bathroom especially isn’t ideal. But overall, the convenience to campus makes it worth it.
Convenient for grad students
Literally on campus, so it's a 5-minute walk to any of the graduate schools at WFU. Sometimes ants find their way inside when the seasons are changing, but WFU maintenance will take care of it.
Great until the price hikes
Lived in this house for almost 3 years. Asked management for a couple-month lease extension to finish my studies and they increased by rent by 50%.
Grad Housing Review
Grad housing is the best
Great Space
Great place to live in, especially when moving in from a different state. Not a lot of storage space, but overall very good!
Inexpensive
Slightly old, but everything works and the rent is inexpensive!
Perfect spot for any graduate student
I can walk 3 minutes to class every day, I don’t have to pay for a commuter parking pass, and I have very cheap rent. Inside wakes gates so I feel perfectly safe. Large living room, kitchen, dining room, and back patio, washer dryer in unit.
Renter
I like it a lot.
Easy, convenient, affordable
With an ease of access to the campus, the WFU Grad Housing offers so much more. I didn’t have to bring any big furnitures cause Wake provided. they also provide cleaning services and trash porter. My roommates are also in my programs so that’s awesome.
