West Raleigh Reviews
10 reviews
Home to the PNC Arena, state fair grounds, and near NC State's campus, West Raleigh is often immobilized by events drawing large crowds—a heads-up for local happenings is necessary to get around smoothly. I find myself only spending leisure time in Cary and West Raleigh, which offer plenty of activities—thrifting, art museums, parks, and some bars.
Very close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Less than 15 mins from downtown Raleigh, Cary, and North Hills.
very safe and quiet
It is a very safe neighborhood and everyone is very friendly.
It looks sketchy in surrounding areas that are not apartment complexes.
We love the Fuquay-Varina area! Fuquay-Varina has a good balance of rural and suburban spots. There are numerous local gems within 10-minutes of us. If Fuquay-Varina doesn't have what you're looking for, Holly Springs is only 10-15 minutes away and it has most of the big retail spots. If you still can't find what you're looking for, Cary and Raleigh are only a 30-minute drive.
Lots of foot traffic around the complex, but never any problems with crime.
I feel very safe here and the demographic is the same as mine
