Morningside Atlanta

Overall, the apartments are very spacious. It is in Morningside on Piedmont Ave. Despite being on a busy road, it is not super noisy at all (you hear cars distantly but sounds like white noise to me). The Morningside neighborhood is great to walk through. There is a Sprouts (grocery store) below. All ~1 minute walking distance are the restaurants: Grindhouse, Papa Johns, Grana, Little Rey, Dunkin, Starbucks! It is an easy (~12 minute drive) through a neighborhood to campus yet it feels more like you are in the city. It is about 10 minutes to Buckhead, 6 minutes to Piedmont Park and 15 minutes to Old Fourth Ward by car. There is a gated parking garage for residents. That being said since there is a Sprouts below, there is a fair amount of random traffic in that part of the garage (therefore, while I have never felt unsafe it is definitely more like a city living! So, lock your car! I haven't had any issues at all but we did get an email once that someone's window was smashed not in the resident garage). The leasing office is actually super responsive and helpful (much more than prior apartments I've lived at here). The hallways are outdoors but the insides are super nice. There is a great gym, separate yoga room and rooftop pool! There are even study spaces in the lobby area which is fun. As an Emory undergrad, I like that its off campus, yet an easy drive (driving from Old Fourth Ward takes like 30 minutes sometimes :( ). Price wise, it is very reasonable for a two bedroom; although, I'm not sure if they have raised prices at all. Guest parking: my boyfriend parks on a side street nearby when he spends the night. Otherwise, guest parking is free until 10 pm (then $1 an hour until 6 am).

Great place to live with great neighbors. Sprouts downstairs makes grocery shopping very convenient

This complex is relatively new and my wife and I love it. The leasing and maintenance staff are very professional, timely, and helpful. The complex is also directly on top of a Sprouts which is a huge bonus!

The place is currently a construction zone, meaning everything is in a constant state of flux. Minus the mess and noise, the place is amazing. I love the location, the apartment, and most my neighbors. Food laying around tends to be a problem.
