It works for us!

We just moved here in August and we're very happy with our choice. We're both full time students with a tight budget. Lovely apartment, very close to MARTA, and relatively safe area DESPITE having tons of homeless people and a drug rehab center nearby. It is a definitely saddening and unsettling to see so many homeless people everyday. At the same time, it is honestly frustrating to be asked for money every day. But I never feel that I am truly in danger. There are two police stations very close by to help the area feel more secure. And, as a person who has always lived in a large city, you just have to be smart about walking around at night. My biggest issue with the area is that most of the restaurants in close walking distance close so early.

Amazing

I love City Plaza! The staff is super friendly and responds to requests quickly. Clean and modern apartment with washer/dryer in-unit which was a deal breaker for me. It's super affordable and well-kept. You need a key card to move throughout the building so it feels very safe for downtown.

Great option for Georgia State students. It seems like the building is inhabited mostly by GSU students any way. Great price for wood floors, in unit washer dryer, and updated kitchen. I wish the lighting was better in my apartment. I don't know what other apartments look like but my overhead lighting is a dim track light in the living room. The bedroom doesn't have any overhead lighting, which is quite inconvenient. Very close to GSU and MARTA (Five Points station and Garnett station). Also close to Edgewood bar strip.
Awesome place to live!! Amazing location, quiet yet in the middle of all the action! Roof top deck with great views of Atlanta and nice pools!

And its right on the famous Jackson St. Bridge!
I love living in downtown. It's close to all the other major neighborhoods by MARTA and is starting to have more walkability as far as shopping and restaurants go. The only con is the lack of easy parking, and the traffic during major sporting events, concerts, and conventions.
