Small and pricey, but amazing community and peaceful surroundings
I've loved my experience at Lincoln Place. Management is surprisingly responsive. That includes maintenance, pest control, etc. There are parking garages for an add'l fee, which include a ton of storage. There are also parking spots for a smaller add'l fee.
Outside the apartment, there is a ton of green space including an adorable grassy dog park. There are tons of communal grills. Amenities include a gym and pool--both high quality. It's walkable to several restaurants and grocery stores, including a Ralph's and Whole Foods. Depending on when you would leave for school, it's anywhere from a 20-45 min drive to UCLA.
The apartments themselves are on the smaller side, but you are paying for quality builds. Also, you don't share walls with anyone--only a floor or ceiling, depending on whether you are in a lower or upper unit. There are only four apartments per building, and many buildings (it kind of resembles a florida retirement condo community, but filled with young people and pets). Highly recommend!

Great location. Not the cheapest option, but overall solid apartment for the price. Down the street from grocery stores, gas station, bars, restaurants.
