Great Price, Great Apartment

Great apartment for the price. Plenty of light, big windows, lots of public space and a great kitchen. Large walk-in closet for my wife, two sinks in the bathroom, big mirror. Same-floor parking for convenience, and a fitness center right on our floor with all the workout gear I need-- cardio, weight training. Plus a roofdeck pool. The management has been very helpful and friendly. The neighborhood isn't great, but it's near everything you need and local to downtown/Midtown.

Great Apartment

I love my apartment. I managed to snag a great deal, and it's well worth it. I love the private balcony and windows. Good kitchen space, black and aluminum fixtures. It's got lots of space for socializing and parties, and I haven't had any problems with noise. Private entrance, gated garage, same-level parking. A regular fitness center plus a roofdeck saline pool and group fitness area. Great public space down by the leasing office for BIG group dinners, parties, etc. Literally down the street from Poor Calvin's. Great apartment.

Cozy New Home

We moved in a few months ago and have really enjoyed it! There are two courtyards (perfect for taking the dog out), a fitness center right on our floor, and gated parking (safe) at the same level as your apartment (convenient). We're also literally across the street (2 minute walk!) from a great dog daycare and boarding facility! Plus, we're right up the street from a Publix and Walgreens.

The apartment itself is cozy and feels like home. Wide open public area (kitchen-dining-living) great for hosting friends. We haven't had any problems with noise (either with neighbors or with insulation/sound protection). My husband loves to cook and the kitchen is great. I adore our huge walk-in closet, our double sinks in the bathroom, and the big bathtub. We also have a small storage unit that's super convenient (just around the corner on our floor), but we have SO much space in our apartment, too! We have three big windows that let in lots of light. The apartment management has been so friendly and very helpful.

Very walkable and you have everything within arm's reach.

Nighttime is very dependent on where you live, but there can be a lot of noise from street racing and other safety issues.

That being said, northern midtown is a great area and allows an easy commute to campus.
A lot of places to go, a lot of restaurants and supermarket walking distance.
The complex is less than several blocks shy of many of Atlanta's top-rated cafes and restaurants. Its also close the the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, so that's very cool. Grocery store is nearby as well. It's a bit of a stretch to walk to the College of Business and further into GA Tech campus (7 blocks or more) but because of the distance not a lot of loud college students come here, so the building is always quiet. That's not to say there's no social scene here, the area surrounding plus the complex's activity room provide fun meet-up spots.
I love living in midtown - I can easily access great restaurants, my job, and my friends. Where I live, it is very safe. A few blocks down is a little seedier. I love living right by the park. There are relatively few vagrants. Cons, parking is expensive here. Amenities are kind of sub par. Major pro is no driving! I fill up my car maybe once every 2 months. I don't have to take many cabs. Close to Marta if I need it.
I love the location of this community. It is directly across from the Arts Center Marta station and has several restaurants that are in walking distance. The Marta station offers a free shuttle to Atlantic Station which is a 5 minute ride to great shopping and dining.
Best location in the city....Piedmont Park, concert venues, amazing restaurants..not much else you can ask for. Safe neighborhood and very dog friendly!
Midtown is better than it used to be, but still not a paradise of safety and contentment. One of the most (if not the most) walkable areas in Atlanta, there are at least three MARTA stations (North Avenue, Midtown, and Arts Center) to get you into the area, lots of bus lines, and the Eastern Beltline dividing us from ViHi. Great restaurants, some shopping (higher rents are driving a lot of places out), beautiful Piedmont Park - all great things.

Extremely LGBTQ friendly area, especially at the corner of 10th and Piedmont. More skewed towards gay men than lesbians, though.

Crime is something of a rollercoaster - things will seem great for a while and then there'll be a few armed muggings or house robberies and everyone freaks out. Pay attention to your surroundings and don't be afraid to call the police if you feel unsafe! Basic advice for anywhere in the city, really.
Great for walking, tons of restaurants and bars, easy access to Piedmont Park
