Great location
My apartment has been great transitioning from living in New York because I am still able to walk to a number of different stores and restaurants in the area. My building manager is very responsive and the building is well-maintained. I particularly enjoy the new appliances in my apt as well as the hardwood flooring which can be difficult to find in an LA apt.

A decent amount of homeless people but not at the Venice level.
- Close drive to UCLA campus w/ easy access to 405
- Can pick up #1 bus from Santa Monica and Sawtelle bus to UCLA
- Given the area, street parking is not too difficult to find
- Easy walk to Sawtelle for food
- Rent is reasonable given the area
- Small complex with only 12 units so there's not too much noise
- Management is very responsive
Cons:
- Non-master bedrooms are pretty small and one of them has a stand-up shower (not a bathtub)
- Appliances and apartment doesn't feel very "modern" (though everything works)
