The apartment homes are newly renovated and are really nice. My apartment gets amazing light and the walls are pretty thick, so I can’t hear my neighbors— even when they’re having big parties. The location is amazing, it feels really safe and is super close to downtown, Zilker Park, and within walking distance to coffee shops, thrift stores, and restaurants. There’s a cute neighborhood nearby where I go on walks and feel safe doing so by myself, as a young woman. Our landlords are very responsive and are super helpful with repairs and work orders. We have covered parking in a garage that’s included and great amenities (3 pools, two gyms, a rooftop deck). While the rent is a little more expensive than I would like, I think it’s pretty worth it for all the amenities and the location. The only thing I can complain about is that people let their dogs go to the bathroom all around the property, instead of using the dog park only. But that’s not the property’s fault and they clean everything up pretty quickly. Overall, a great first apartment in a new city.

Overall I'm very happy with this apartment. It is a nice building in a great location. Close to some bars and restaurants but also right on a bus line to get downtown and to campus. It is more spacious than something downtown for the same price, but downtown is still a 5 minute drive/walkable on a nice day. Also, AMAZING rooftop lounge area that is by far my favorite part of the building.

Good overall/good amenities. Good location - on bus route. Free printing. Tons of natural light. Occasional malfunctioning parking garage gate.

The Post has been a great introduction to Austin. They host several happy hours and yoga events for their tenants. They are also highly responsive to maintenance requests. The apartment building is right above several eateries and the neighborhood is filled with several restaurants and bars.

While I've only lived here for a few months, I've been completely satisfied at Post South Lamar! First are foremost, the walkability around this place is incredible. We can walk to a variety of restaurants, the Alamo Drafthouse, music venues, shopping, etc. I also love that I can see downtown from my living room window and don't have to pay an arm and a leg for the view! Management is also great. They're super friendly and every request or question or complaint I have had, they've addressed immediately and fixed the situation! The pool is gorgeous though we haven't gotten to use it much in the winter months. The gym is pretty blah though. And I have to complain that there is very little green space for pets to run and play around in. They just installed a dog run but it's very small with astroturf. We find that walking our dog in the neighborhood behind the complex is best. Very happy overall though!

Great management, great residents, and great amenities! If you're looking for the coolest, most cost-effective place to live south of the river, this is your spot! There are tons of dog owners and a great dog park/dog run for the pups...and everyone is super friendly!

Thus far, all my experiences have been positive living here. Gym has the typical elliptical, free weights, etc. Courtyard has the door pool, which is great for people watching. Parking is secured, which is great for females. Staff are friendly and nice. Location is safe and close to groceries, mall and food.

Love the apartment that my girlfriend I share with our dog. Great size one-bedroom, relatively well priced. It's almost too well insulated (still have to use AC in the winter) and there is a lot of construction on the new phase. Not much green space.
