Small, old, and a little pricey, but safe and close to Metro

Very small studio in an aging building. Probably a little overpriced for its small size and how old the unit is. I consistently have issues with internet connectivity. Reliable management/maintenance. Building doors require scanning a key fob before entrance, and I have never felt unsafe in or around the building. No gym. About 10min walk from Courthouse Metro and a few bars/restaurants at Courthouse, Clarendon is reasonably close as well. Charges for laundry. I have no pets, but many neighbors do. I can sometimes hear the neighbors but haven't had any real issues with noise, though it might be an issue if someone particularly inconsiderate moved in. No issues with pests or temperature.

Getting around Lyon Village

Lyon Village Reviews

The property is set in a residential area that is pleasant and safe. Custis trail is nearby for running, biking, and walking. It provides easy and quick access to the city and Rosslyn. I love this trail.

MOM's market is on-site. I shop there occasionally but prefer the cheaper option of Giant down the street (a short drive or walk). The metro is a short and safe 5-minute walk away. The building does sit right off Lee Highway, but I have never had any noise or other problems associated with this. I like how quickly I can pull onto the major road instead of navigating around crowded city traffic. I drive to school in under 5 minutes via Lee Highway.
When I first came to school everyone said DuPont circle was the place to live and I wanted to be in the scene with everyone. After living in Arlington, I do not regret this decision at all. Everything is so clean and classy and safe. It is really the perfect community filled with young professionals. I personally think it is a better place for networking than the city.
Average neighborhood, food scene is unexceptional. If the law school wasn't right here I wouldn't be living here. Tons of crowds and people not taking masks / social distancing / pandemic in general serious and going to bars and clubs.
Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Near Trader Joe’s, Giant, and Whole Foods for grocery needs. Metro transit steps away, but also a quick walk to Roslyn or Courthouse.
Great local area. Night life is okay, but very tailored to ex-frat bros. Tons of great food and an easy commute to the city.
Very walkable area, lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. Area feels safe to walk around even at night.
Metro, bars, restaurants, gyms, movie theaters, breweries, etc. all a block or two away.
Lots of bars, restaurants, shops, parks, dog park, etc.
