Good location, great amenities, love living here

It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live by a major league sports stadium. It can get annoying to use the metro on game days but it's fun to have your friend over before or after games.

The amenities in the building are great (rooftop pool/grills, club room, pool tables, computer room, gym, and even a movie theater). The people who work in the building are friendly and helpful. Even though we don't have a dog, we like that it's pet friendly. The area is growing like crazy - it feels like we get a new restaurant practically every week. We are about a 6 min walk from the Navy Yard metro station about a 12 min walk to Capitol South - Capitol Hill and Eastern Market are totally walk able.

Great Area

I love the area because there is so much to do and it seems like more and more opens up every month. The price is reasonable because I split with one other person, and to live in that area we feel like we're getting a bargain. Management group is friendly and always helpful.

Great Building

I have lived at 70 Capitol Yards for almost two years now and still enjoy living there very much. When the building was built in the late 2000s it was state of the art, and one of the first in the Navy Yard areas. While new apartment buildings are being built around this building, the management have been keeping up and have been upgrading our amenities. The location is great, just blocks away from the Yards park, new restaurants, Nats Park, and the Capitol. Access to two metro stations serving different line are within walking distance. Would recommend this location to anyone.

Capitol Hill Riverfront Reviews

I love this area! We're close to metros, grocery stores, and great local businesses. It's a very close walk to parks and the Anacostia waterfront. It can feel removed from the law school, which I enjoy, though if you're new to the area it can be more challenging.
I love the Riverfront so much. There are bars and restaurants, a great grocery store, plenty of events and things to do, and there's something new being built every day. The metro is accessible within a few blocks of most apartments as there are two entrances, and the population is full of pet-loving young professionals. Did I mention the Nationals stadium is in the middle of it all? I can't wait to see what my hood looks like in 5 years.
The neighborhood is largely under construction but in ten years or so it will be awesome. In the meantime, there are a lot of great restaurants, the waterfront, and the baseball stadium.
The areas is constantly changing with new restaurants and bars. During the summer the the Yards Park is one of the most beautiful and popular parks int he city!
Looking forward to more grocery stores and shops opening, but I like the quiet of the neighborhood. Easy walk to the water and the Capitol.
I love walking around this neighborhood because it is rather quiet and residential. There are many parks nearby.
The neighborhood has been fantastic. Tons of construction of new restaurants and retail. Great to explore.
This is an up-and-coming area of DC as I understand it. Most of the things around here are new. It's a little expensive, but most of DC is that way as well. A lot of the people who live here seem to be young professionals. There's lots of parks for dogs. It's a pretty area with plenty to do and it's quieter than other parts of DC I've visited. Not quite as cute as some other areas, but that's ok. It has its own thing going on.
